on vote blue, get red

Is there really no ideological difference between the Tories and Labour?

Cllr Les Byrom, former leader of the Sefton Conservatives, a previous Conservative Parliamentary Prospective Candidate and a nominee to contest the Southport and Wirral South seat at the next election for the Conservatives, has
today defected to Labour. He cites his removal from Merseyside Fire Authority by the Conservatives as his reason for defection, after initially stating it was David Cameron’s opposition to 42 days which had caused him to defect.
“Having been a Conservative for 35 years, this is a truly momentous decision
that I have been forced to take.”
