on Lib Dem irony

Lecturer: we are all individuals
Pre-pubescent student at the back: No I'm not!
(thanks to Mr. Farron for that one).

We oppose centralization, but let's create a new internal quango aimed at ensuring the lib dem's knock on 1 million doors.

Norman Lambs speech was equally ironic. We will charge people for missing appointments which will no doubt need a new quango, what happens if someone missed an appointment but have a life threatening condition, but not the money to pay the fine? Hardly the peoples NHS.

That's not to say we don't have the best intentions as a party, we simply need to think about new ways of delivering them, without resting on New/Blue Labour techniques.

We all seem scared to push the Liberal part of our name, running scared of standing up, saying firmly, let's trust the individual.

Make it Happen?
